Oxford Real Farming Conference 2027

Supporter and Pay-It-Forward Tickets Now On Sale!

7th – 8th January 2027, Oxford, UK + Online Livestream

Join us as the UK’s largest agroecology gathering returns for our 18th year!

The Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) explores the questions at the forefront of the alternative food and farming movement, from farm practice deep-dives and the latest agroecological research, to exploring our reciprocal relationship with Nature and marginalised perspectives on food sovereignty and land.

Hope in a better food and farming system is more important than ever. We welcome farmers and growers, scientists, activists and policymakers, and anyone with an interest in food and agriculture to discuss a shared vision for a fairer food and farming system. Through music, performance, poetry, seed exchanges, practical demonstrations, book talks and thought-provoking discussions, we’ll be celebrating farmer stories, embracing indigenous learnings and exploring cutting-edge research. Beyond our scheduled sessions, you’ll experience the energy of ORFC in the in-betweens: the conversations in the streets, the interviews in the stairwells, the excitable exchanges in pubs.

ORFC 2027 promises to be the most inspiring, empowering and urgent yet, as we come together to forge connections with allies, exchange knowledge, and champion agroecology in practice across the UK and beyond. Whether you’ve been before or you’re new to the magic of ORFC, we welcome you to join our growing community shaping a stronger food system together.

Over two full days you can expect 145+ dynamic in-person talks and interactive workshops, including 45+ livestreamed sessions. Please note that this year, Listening to the Land, our programme to bring visibility to the sacred and reciprocal relationship we have with the Land, will be incorporated into the main ORFC programming, 7th-8th January 2027.

A note on capacity: For 2027, we’re exploring ways to improve access across the conference so that more delegates can attend the sessions that matter most to them.

ORFC in-person tickets always sell out, so early booking is essential to avoid disappointment. We offer tiered tickets to ensure that ORFC reflects the radical and diverse community it represents.

An online ticket will give you access to 45+ sessions livestreamed from Oxford. An in-person ticket will give you access to all the sessions in Oxford (145+), including all the livestreamed sessions, so that you can catch up on anything you missed after leaving the in-person conference.

In addition to sessions featuring leading experts from across the UK and around the world, the programme will feature a wide range of social events, musical entertainment, and delicious, sustainably sourced food.

Ticket Tiers Explained

To ensure ORFC 2027 reflects the radical and diverse community it represents, we offer tiered tickets. This sliding scale ensures that ORFC remains an equitable platform for the agroecological movement.

In gratitude and recognition for contributing to the radical spirit of ORFC, those who buy a Pay-It-Forward or Supporter Ticket will have their name or the name of their organisation printed in the ORFC programme and on this page, while those who buy an Online Supporter Ticket will have their name printed on our website.
