ORFC 2027 7 – 8 Jan
“Water is the driving force in Nature” said Leonardo da Vinci. As custodians of the countryside we are responsible for water on farms and in the landscape. We need to adapt usage and storage to changes in climate and pollution. In this session, we will be looking at challenges with water quality, quantity and revitalisation, landscape hydration, watercourse viability and aquatic biodiversity; managing sustainable on-farm water systems; and exploring catchment work and community to help nature with local rivers and streams. The speakers will be sharing case studies and funding sources so we are all inspired to work with caring for water.
