FILM SCREENING: Gather

ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED. LIMITED SPACES: 750

Gather is an intimate portrait of the growing movement amongst Native Americans to reclaim their spiritual, political and cultural identities through food sovereignty, while battling the trauma of centuries of genocide.

Gather follows Nephi Craig, a chef from the White Mountain Apache Nation (Arizona), opening an indigenous café as a nutritional recovery clinic; Elsie Dubray, a young scientist from the Cheyenne River Sioux Nation (South Dakota), conducting landmark studies on bison; and the Ancestral Guard, a group of environmental activists from the Yurok Nation (Northern California), trying to save the Klamath river.

Attendees will need to be signed into their Storyspaces’ account in order to access the screening room using the same email and password they used to get the ticket. The screening is live, so please be sure to be on time! You can enter the screening room and begin using the chat 30 mins before the film’s start. We recommend watching on a computer and using Chrome.

Please note registration is available via the daily email updates sent to ORFC delegates.
