New entrants to farming face significant challenges including, limited access to land, high land prices, difficulty securing finance, and a lack of suitable training and support. In this session three new entrant farmers discuss their experiences of entering the sector with low to no capital, their commitment to working with nature (a not so silent business partner) and what barriers need tackling to support new farmers enter the sector, then thrive once they’re in.
