Creating Space for Neurodiversity in Regenerative Farming Practices

A discussion of the benefits of creating space on working farms for people with learning disabilities and who are autistic or otherwise neurodiverse. Farms provide an active, outdoor environment where people can engage with animals, soil, food, and the changing seasons. Farms can offer a space and welcoming community for those who have struggled within the confines of mainstream learning environments. Members of FarmAbility, Pennyhooks Farm Trust and The Market Garden in Eynsham will speak about their experiences working in farms that cultivate inclusive spaces for neurodiversity. The panel will look at an inclusive approach to the productivity of a farm business and the importance of bringing all members of society into a sustainable future for nature and farming.
