What grows when the climate grows hotter in the UK? This may feel like a distant concept, but some innovative farmers are already growing crops that were previously impossible in the UK’s climate. In this session, we speak to farmers and researchers experimenting with olives, rice, nuts, wine to explore the world of opportunities but also the challenges. They will unpack the challenges in scaling to commercial level, navigating a lack of infrastructure and the lessons learnt along the way.
