The agroecology movement is at risk of missing out on the financial and other development support on offer because it is knowledge- rather than technology-intensive. Yet there is a whole range of promising, non-toxic and healthful technologies that are underexplored. Underpinned by post-material science, these subtle technologies include the application of sound and electromagnetic frequencies, device-mediated consciousness applications and geomancy. This novel session aims to put these technologies on the map at the ORFC for the first time, to stimulate discussion and form an alliance to co-explore subtle, post-material technologies for the farming sector.
