ORFC 2026 8 – 9 Jan
Access to Land network is proposing a discussion on how social movements can influence land policies, focusing on land observatories as policy tools for land regulation. While the EU Commission has decided to launch a pilot for an EU Land Observatory, we remain committed to ensure this Observatory promotes justice, democracy, and sustainable land access for farmers. Our session will focus at both EU and national levels featuring panelists from different national contexts. The discussion will also explore links between land regulation and food sovereignty in Europe and prepare for the 2026 International Conference on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development organized by the Nyéléni movement.
