The emphasis on land sharing, producing food for human health and wellbeing in as environmentally and socially sustainable manner as possible, appears to be falling out of favour amongst environmental organisations, as evidenced by the widespread promotion of wilding and so-called sustainable intensification and light green, regenerative conventional farming methods. The session will present the positive results from environmental monitoring of organic farms and discuss how organic farming can continue to evolve to better meet the needs of a changing environment.
