Every year, growers who come to ORFC leave the conference, return to their land, and run trials. We plant different varieties, use different growing methods, and calculate what happened at the end. Was it productive? Did it taste good? In the spirit of sharing more of this learning, three panellists will disclose the results of their 2025 trials. Ed Scott, Polytunnels Manager at Riverford, will talk tunnel trials; Andy Hayllor, Gullaford Farm, will reveal his roots; and Martin Kyte and Heleen Bos, from Rijk Zwaan, will update us on seed varieties to look out for in 2026.
