ORFC 2026 8 – 9 Jan
Join this session to hear frontline voices working to heal and transform food systems through Indigenous wisdom, cultural renewal, and collective care. Chaired by Jyoti Fernandes of the Landworkers’ Alliance and La Via Campesina, this session brings together Pania Newton, Māori land rights activist; Dr Rupa Marya, founder of the Deep Medicine Circle; and Dr Lyla June, Indigenous regenerative food systems expert. Together, they explore what it means to grow food in right relationship with the Earth, and how Indigenous regenerative practices and decolonising food systems can guide us on the path to resilience, sovereignty, and collective healing.
