In this session, Chris Smaje — author of A Small Farm Future — discusses his new book, Finding Lights in a Dark Age: Sharing Land, Work and Craft with Cordelia Rowlatt. Part of Chris’s new book is about building local agroecological communities bottom-up in the face of the present poly-crisis. Cordelia and Chris jointly created Vallis Veg, a small market garden and land-based community in Somerset. In this session, they share thoughts about that experience, linking it to the wider political challenges discussed in Chris’s new book.
