Imperialism and colonial legacies continue to shape food systems and climate policies worldwide. We will take a moment to focus on the existing dynamics behind the weaponization of food, land displacement and ongoing struggles for sovereignty. Speakers will share reflections from the ground, analysis and agreements from key ongoing political processes, highlighting grassroots perspectives and strategies for resisting the colonial mindset within the agriculture sector, while calling for internationalist solidarity with the struggles and realities of the people in Palestine, where food and agriculture remain central to decolonial resistance.
