Agrarian reform is not just a policy demand — it is a struggle against centuries of land dispossession, corporate control, and colonial legacies that continue to deny peasants, Indigenous Peoples, and rural communities in their territories and livelihoods. Join La Via Campesina for an urgent and constructive discussion of the need for popular and integral agrarian reform, and reflections on the outcomes of the 3rd Nyéléni Global Forum related to land, water, forests and territories. In this session, we’ll explore how we can meaningfully confront land concentration and develop new proposals and demands with collective struggle at their heart, as we look ahead to the International Conference on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (ICARRD+20) in 2026.
