Be The Earth is a family foundation supporting groups and individuals to develop regenerative economies that prioritise the flourishing of all life on Earth. We use financial and non-financial capital to support food producers, environmentalists, community leaders, wellbeing practitioners, indigenous people and women, to grow post-capitalist modes of production and ways of being that enhance individual, collective, and planetary wellbeing. We work with a closed loop model that combines Impact Investments and Philanthropy under the same vision.

We collaborate, catalyse and champion work done locally and internationally, from the grassroots to global institutions, to grow decentralised economic models offering long-term resilient alternatives to capitalism. In its current form, capitalism threatens cultures, livelihoods, biodiversity, and the wellbeing of people and planet. We seek to build systems that nurture and nourish all living beings by reducing dependency, monoculture, centralisation and global risks.

Changing the system is not just about what we do; how we do things matters too. Be The Earth works through trust and relationships, guided by feminine principles, and we see and nurture the whole human in everything that we do. We operate primarily in the United Kingdom, Brazil and South Africa and build partnerships by invitation only. Inspired by fungal networks, we observe the paradigm of reciprocity in all relationships, knowing that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
