From a fringe protest of 50 people to a gathering of thousands, ORFC continues to bring the grassroots agroecology and food sovereignty movement together to lead the way towards a fairer food and farming system in the UK. The ORFC 2026 line-up will include 145+ dynamic in-person sessions, including 45+ livestreamed sessions, and will bring together pioneering voices from across the UK and around the world to address the crucial issues facing food and farming right now.
In 2025, we launched ORFC in the Field, a new programme of farm-based residential workshops. Our full annual programme will include four immersive, practical on-farm events each year, hosted in partnership with outstanding agroecological farms across the UK.
Throughout 2026, we’ll have workshops on heritage grains, livestock and landscape interactions, peri-urban farming, food politics, flower growing, and much more. At these events, we’ll be empowering each other with the skills, vision, confidence and commitment we need to transform the food system for good.
