ORFC friends and allies are also invited to join the return of the Listening to the Land day, a collaborative gathering to explore how building a reciprocal relationship with nature can support radical food system transformation, which will be held in Oxford on January 7th 2026, one day before ORFC.
Join the legendary gathering of the UK’s agroecological and food sovereignty movement as we return to Oxford for our 17th year!
From practical, nature-friendly farm practice to bigger questions exploring how to achieve radical food system transformation, the Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) unites mud-on-the-boots farmers and growers with scientists, activists and policymakers, and anyone with a serious interest in food and agriculture.
ORFC offers those who share a vision for a fairer food and farming system the unique opportunity to forge connections with allies, exchange knowledge, and work together to build a just food system for all.
ORFC in-person tickets always sell out, so early booking is essential to avoid disappointment. We offer tiered tickets to ensure that ORFC reflects the radical and diverse community it represents.
Over two full days you can expect 145+ dynamic in-person talks and interactive workshops, including 45+ livestreamed sessions. The ORFC 2026 line-up will include pioneering voices from the front lines of farming, policy experts, radical food systems activists, Indigenous wisdom-keepers, cutting-edge agroecological researchers, and many more.
Some of this year’s sessions will explore:
- Farming to Protect Our Rivers
- Innovations in Dual Purpose Livestock
- Crops for a Changing Climate
- The Debate on Glyphosate
- Plastic-Free Agriculture
- Migrant Landworker Rights
- Indigenous Wisdom and Growing Practices
- Financing Agroecological Farming
- Tackling Farming’s Mental Health Crisis
- Countering Corporate Power in Food Systems
- Unlocking Farm Surplus to Fight Hunger
- Solidarity with Palestinian Landworkers
An online ticket will give you access to 45+ sessions livestreamed from Oxford. An in-person ticket will give you access to all the sessions in Oxford (145+), including all the livestreamed sessions, so that you can catch up on anything you missed after leaving the in-person conference.
In addition to leading experts from across the UK and around the world, the programme will feature a wide range of social events, musical entertainment, and delicious, sustainably sourced food.
