The European Food Sovereignty Movement

The session will look at the history and recent developments of the European food sovereignty movement including a history of the global food sovereignty movement and feedback from the second Nyeleni Forum for food sovereignty held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania this Autumn. We will discuss the answers that food sovereignty offers to the challenges facing our food and farming system, and why global social movements have embraced it as the rallying cry for radical change.
