About the author: Veronica White is an environmental social scientist and final-year PhD student at the University of Exeter. Her PhD fieldwork – the Farming Futures Cycle Tour – involved cycling 2000 miles across England to interview women in farming communities, exploring their visions for the future of farming and food production.
