ORFC 2025 Bursaries

The Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) offers a number of bursaries to help create a more accessible, equitable, radical space.

IMPORTANT: This application is for a bursary to attend the IN-PERSON conference. Applications are not required to book an online bursary ticket.

An ORFC 2025 bursary may cover:

  • In-person conference ticket
  • Travel costs to/from Oxford (within the UK only)*
  • Accommodation costs
*Unfortunately, due to limited funding, bursaries cannot cover international travel.

You are welcome to apply for a bursary if you meet one or more of these criteria:

  • You are a Black person
  • You are a person of colour
  • You identify as LGBTQIA+
  • You have a disability
  • You work part-time, are unemployed or have low-waged work
  • You can share another way you are experiencing inequity

Selection criteria

ORFC will award bursaries based on need, impact and available funds. Priority will be given to those who have been underrepresented at ORFC.

What is expected if I am awarded a bursary?

All bursary recipients are asked to complete a brief feedback form after the conference. This feedback is important to help ORFC offer more bursaries in the future. Bursary recipients who have travel and/or accommodation expenses reimbursed will need to send an expenses claim form and corresponding receipts.

Applications are due by midday (12pm BST) on Thursday, 5th September 2024.

All applicants will be notified by Monday, 19th September 2024.

Please note the application will not allow you to save your answers and continue later, so responses need to be submitted all at once. You can review a PDF of the application here. When you are ready to apply, submit your application using the link below:
