Getting to the venues:

All venues are located just off the High Street, in the centre of Oxford. St Aldates Conference Centre, the Story Museum and Ship Street Centre are all within a 5 minute walk of the Town Hall.

Parking in the city is difficult and there is no parking easily available near the venue. If driving, we recommend you use the Park & Ride or leave your vehicle at your accommodation if possible. Please visit the Oxford City Council website for more information on Park & Ride.

Delegates are encouraged to book accommodation as early as possible.

Jesus College has reserved a limited amount of single-bed dorm room accommodation to ORFC delegates (£88 per night). To book accommodation at Jesus College:

Meals

  • This year once again, our key breakout venue is St Aldates Church (where early registration will be taking place), which will be the place for food and drink and networking throughout the conference.
  • There will be food stalls serving evening dinners from 5pm on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th and lunch from 12:30pm on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th.
  • The Landworkers’ Alliance will be running a bar in the Church on the evenings of Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th.
  • We will not be providing any disposable cups for tea and coffee this year, or for evening drinks – please bring your own. Alternatively, you can purchase a (very nice) ORFC mug when registering.

Evening dinners

Local restaurants, chosen by Good Food Oxford for their sourcing credentials, will host to two different evening dinners to suit ORFC delegates. Vaults & Garden will serve a three-course lamb or vegetarian meal in their historic venue, with lamb supplied by Sandy Lane Farm and vegetables supplied by Worton Organic Garden. Wilding Oxford will serve a three-course beef or vegan meal, with 100% pasture-fed beef supplied by Manor Farm, Hampton Gay.

Please note — evening dinner is not included with the standard delegate ticket. Tickets must be purchased in advance; the booking form will be released to all registered in-person delegates in early December.
