Please take note of the following which is relevant to everyone joining ORFC 2022 in-person:
Sessions will take place from 9:30am – 9pm on Thursday, 6th January and from 9am – 5pm on Friday, 7th January.
Additional half-day workshops will take place before the conference on Wednesday, 5th January from 2pm – 5pm.
Workshops will take place on Wednesday, 5th January from 2pm – 5pm. These are open to all registered delegates but require advance booking. There will be a small additional charge for attending these, and bookings will open when the programme is announced.
Getting to the venues:
All venues are located just off the High Street, in the centre of Oxford. The Town Hall website gives information on how to get there. St Aldates Church is just diagonally left across the road from the Town Hall. St Aldates Conference Centre, the Story Museum and Ship Street Centre are all within a 5 minute walk of the Town Hall.
Parking in the city is difficult and there is no parking easily available near the venue. If driving, we recommend you use the Park & Ride or leave your vehicle at your accommodation if possible. Please visit the Oxford City Council website for more information on Park & Ride.
Delegates are encouraged to book accommodation as early as possible.
Jesus College has reserved a limited amount of single-bed dorm room accommodation to ORFC delegates (£88 per night). To book accommodation at Jesus College:
Local restaurants, chosen by Good Food Oxford for their sourcing credentials, will host to two different evening dinners to suit ORFC delegates. Vaults & Garden will serve a three-course lamb or vegetarian meal in their historic venue, with lamb supplied by Sandy Lane Farm and vegetables supplied by Worton Organic Garden. Wilding Oxford will serve a three-course beef or vegan meal, with 100% pasture-fed beef supplied by Manor Farm, Hampton Gay.
Please note — evening dinner is not included with the standard delegate ticket. Tickets must be purchased in advance; the booking form will be released to all registered in-person delegates in early December.
ORFC attendees are advised to wear a mask indoors unless otherwise exempt. All ORFC attendees are required to observe the following measures to protect the health of all attendees, venue staff and contractors:
Attendees are encouraged to use the NHS Test & Trace QR code or sign-in sheet available at each venue.
