Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

How do I access the conference?

All delegates who have booked a ticket will be registered for the conference in Crowdcast. All talks, discussions and plenaries will be held in Crowdcast and accessible through the ORFC programme. The recommended Internet browsers for watching Crowdcast are Chrome (optimal), Firefox, and Edge. You do not need to book for these sessions.

Each session page includes an embedded Crowdcast video. Registered delegates who are logged into Crowdcast with their registered email will be able to view all conference sessions in Crowdcast.

A video demonstration by the ORFC Crowdcast whiz on how to access the conference is available here:

All workshops will be held in Zoom and require advance booking. Delegates will need to access workshops using the Zoom link sent via Ticket Tailor. You will receive a Zoom link for each workshop for which you have registered. A further reminder with the Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 2 hours before the workshop start time.

Why aren’t all individual sessions listed for booking?

Please note only workshops require advance booking. All keynotes, panel discussions and plenaries will be accessible to all registered delegates via the ORFC online programme.

I can’t book onto all the workshops I wanted. What now?

There are a few workshops daily, which are included as complimentary with general registration. However as workshops are interactive Zoom meetings, many have capped registration. Once registration has filled, a waiting list is available. The ORFC team is monitoring the waiting lists and aims to accommodate as many as possible.

How do I sign-up for workshops?

  1. Follow this link to register.
  2. Enter the access code (this is included in the email sent to delegates on Tuesday, 29 December; all who registered after this date will have received the access code via email).
  3. Register for your chosen workshops. If a workshop is full, please do join the waiting list to be updated if more spaces are opened.

Will sessions be recorded and available after the event?

All talks and panel discussions are available for instant replay in the online programme. These can be accessed through the respective session pages and can be viewed by all ORFC delegates. Many of the Zoom workshops will also be recorded (recording is at the discretion of the workshop organisers). All recordings, including talks, panels and recorded workshops, will be made available via the ORFC YouTube channel after the conference.

For how long will the recordings be available?

Into perpetuity, we hope! As with past ORFCs, all recorded content from ORFC Global will be freely available to everyone via the ORFC YouTube channel.
