Who we are

The team

Colin Tudge

is a biologist by education and the author of Good Food for Everyone Forever. He is co-founder of the Campaign for Real Farming and is seeking to establish a College for Enlightened Agriculture.

Ruth West 

is married to Colin. She has worked as a consultant at the UN (WHO, UNEP) but now spends her time on food and farming issues, setting up Funding Enlightened Agriculture and the Campaign for Real Farming with Colin, and more recently The All Party Parliamentary Group on Agroecology with Pete Riley.


Nessie Reid (Programme Manager)

is a spiritual ecologist and performance artist working on issues around access to land, food values and agroecological farming. She is Managing Editor of a scientific journal Biodiversity – a Journal of Life on Earth and is creator of the on-going “The Milking Parlour“.

Hannah Fenton (Operations Manager)

has a background in event management and is Manager of Good Food Oxford. She has recently been supporting the development of her partner’s apple juice business, Tiddly Pommes, and is a committee member of the East Oxford Farmers’ Market.


Katharine Mansell (Marketing and Communications Manager)

is a communications, media and PR manager currently working with the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Agroecology. Previous roles include as Media and External Affairs Manager for the International Institute for Environment and Development, and as Communications Manager for World Animal Protection UK.


For ORFC 2018, we are working with the support and direction of Clare Horrell from the Real Farming Trust, as well as RFT trustees.
